DIRECT OBSERVATION OF REFRACTION AND SCATTERING OF SOUND ON VORTICES AND RADIATION OF SOUND BY VORTICES IN SUBSONIC TURBULENT JETS AT AEROACOUSTIC INTERACTION
RÉSUMÉ
The results of direct observation on the base of shadowgraph examination for the processes of interaction of the sawtooth finite-amplitude sound waves with subsonic turbulent jets are shown. Such form of the sound waves, which are visible on the shadowgraphs, allows their changes at interaction with the vortices, generated by these waves earlier, to be observed. The phenomena of refraction and scattering of sound waves on ring and oblique vortices and sound radiation by ring vortices in subsonic turbulent jets are considered.
