APPLICATION OF A PARTIALLY STIRRED REACTOR MODEL FOR TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE TURBULENCE-COMBUSTION INTERACTION ON THE BASIS OF REYNOLDS EQUATIONS
RÉSUMÉ
The results of verification of a method for simulating high-speed flows with combustion in ducts on the basis of 3D Reynolds equations (RANS) that takes into account the turbulence-combustion interaction (TCI) are presented. Several TCI models, based on the partially stirred reactor concept, have been applied. The results of calculations are compared with experimental data and with calculations by other authors. Finally, the results of applying the method to the description of the flow in the model combustion chamber of a high-speed civil aircraft, which has been considered in the framework of the HEXAFLY-INT project, are presented.
