RÉSUMÉ

The lack of efficient therapy for the body pathological states caused by various harmful factors, in particular, ethanol, remains an important problem to be solved. The search is going on to find new agents for preventing and treating chronic alcohol abuse which is a complicated pathological phenomenon whose consequences involve serious muscle system disorders. Biocompatible and biologically available C₆₀ fullerenes, which possess powerful antioxidative properties, promise great prospects in treatment of skeletal muscle system pathologies caused by the destructive action of free radicals.
