RÉSUMÉ
The effect of incomplete global cerebral ischemia-reperfusion on the activity in pro-and anti-apoptotic processes in the thymocytes by the intensity of the p53 and Bcl-2 protein expression was investigated. It has been shown that in the cortical zone of the rat thymus with four-month diabetes mellitus, as well as in control rats and animals with diabetes mellitus after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion, anti-apoptotic processes dominated. In the medullary area of the gland in rats with diabetes, anti-apoptotic mechanisms either complicated or uncomplicated with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion also predominated, but to a lesser extent than in the cortical zone.
