ABSTRACT

In system positions the viewpoint consideration was given to modern trends of underground space development of megacities. The complex natural and technical geosystem "geourbanistics − geological environment" was highlighted to open up possibilities of introducing a systematic methodology of underground space development, increasing the volume and risk optimization of underground construction. For an objective justification of future development of underground megapolises there was employed the method of morphological analysis.
