Results are presented of parasitological examination of sterlet introduced from Ukraine to the fish farms of Vietnam. Totally in sterlet cultivated in fish farms 32 species of parasites were found, including Protozoa − 15, Platyhelminthes − 4, Nematoda − 2, Annelida − 2, Acanthocephala − 3, and Crustacea − 6. An analysis is made of the consequences and prospects of the sterlet introduction and evaluation of the epizootic significance of its parasites in Vietnam.
