A REVIEW OF RECENT ADVANCES IN THE STUDY OF DRAINAGE IN POROUS MEDIA
要約
In spite of the tremendous amount of work conducted on the evaluation of the drainage through porous media in different applications (e.g., soil remediation, nonaqueous phase removal, enhanced oil recovery, aquifer flow), a detailed review of these works in different contexts is missing from the literature. Thus, this extensive survey has been conducted with the hope to bridge the gap in information here. The aim of this study is to provide a detailed, comprehensive literature survey of the recent advances in the experimental study and modeling of drainage process in porous media. It is expected that this paper will serve as a reference tool for the engineers and scientists interested in the study of the drainage through porous media in different applications.
