Laminar Natural Convection along a Wavy Vertical Plate with Uniform Heat Flux in Non-Newtonian Fluids
要約
In the steady-state laminar natural convection of power-law non-Newtonian fluids, the surface non-uniformities on the boundary layer flow induced by a semi-infinite surface are investigated. A transformation method is applied to study the heat transfer problem. For an example, a sinusoidal surface is used to explain the amplitude of the wavy surface effects. The results of dimensionless velocity and temperature profiles are presented graphically for the case of constant heat flux. The effects of Prandtl number, dimensionless amplitude of the wavy plate and non-Newtonian flow index are examined in detail.
