The results of a numerical investigation using the NUMECA FINE/Open CFD software of nearsonic gas flow over a rotating body with a Riabouchinsky half-cavity nose part under zero angle of attack are presented. An absence of turbulent boundary layer separation from the side surface of the rotating body in the range of Mach numbers 0.8 ≤ M ≤ 0.95 is demonstrated. Also, there is no laminar flow separation at subcritical Mach numbers up to sonic region formation on the nose part surface at M = 0.8.
