LAMINAR SEPARATION ON A SURFACE SLOWLY MOVING UPSTREAM
要約
This work considers the two-dimensional steady-state incompressible fluid flow at large Reynolds numbers (Re) in the vicinity of the separation point on a smooth surface slowly moving upstream. The flow in the boundary layer inside the separation zone is analyzed using the matched asymptotic expansions and strained coordinates methods. It is shown that if the dimensionless velocity of the streamlined surface, Uw, is much smaller than Re-7/26, then the problem is reduced (locally) to the well-known problem corresponding to Uw = 0.
