Microwave Propagation Factor at Small Grazing Angle Over Sea: Transient Domain
RESUMO
The peculiarities of the field of centimeter and millimeter radio waves over rough see surface are investigated in the transition domain of small grazing angles, below which it is necessary to use the model of multiple knife-edge (Fresnel) diffraction on the wave crest, and beyond which the Kirchgoff approximation method. It is shown that multipath propagation of radio waves is applicable in this model. The particularities of coherent and incoherent components of the field forward scattering as a function from the radio path geometry and the parameters of sea roughness are analyzed.
