RESUMO

The current state of the hydroecological problems of the inland water bodies of Ukraine has been elucidated. Results of application of the European approaches to solution of the main rivers' basins (the Dnieper, the Danube etc.) hydroecological problems, based on the actual methods of the aquatic ecosystems assessment and determination of their ecological status have been presented. Information is given on investigation within the frames of some international programs realization (TACIS, UNDP GEF etc.). Conclusion is made about tendency to “ecologization” of the hydrobiological studies.
