RESUMO
Results of the study of zoobenthos and zooperiphyton of the cooling pond of the Chernobyl NPS carried out in 2012–2013 prior to its removal from service are given in the paper. In 2012–2013, the composition and quantitative indices of contour communities were rather stable. The cenotic structure of the studied communities remained almost unchanged: zoobenthos communities occurred at the depths of 3 and 5 m, whereas zooperiphyton communities were observed on stones of the stream directing dam.
