Correlation of Data on the Critical Heat Loads in the Case of Flow Twisting in Straight and Helical Tubes

RESUMO

The paper considers the data on critical heat loads for heat-transfer agent flows twisted in tubes with the aid of a tape for negative and positive vapor contents [2−15]. Correlation of the experimental data considered has been made, and an equation for calculating critical heat loads for both smooth tubes and tubes with flow twisting by a tape and coils has been suggested [16]. The resulting body of data includes the data obtained by 15 researchers and contains more than 1000 experimental points.
