MODELING OF SONIC BOOM WAVE PROPAGATION THROUGH TURBULENCE

RESUMO
Sonic boom shock wave propagation through turbulent media is the subject of this study. The mathematical simulation of atmospheric turbulent boundary layer influence on sonic boom propagation is based on the ray acoustics and stochastic model of homogeneous isotropic turbulence. This approach has been applied in solving the problem of plane N-shaped wave propagation in the stochastic field of temperature or velocity fluctuations.
