RESUMO
The dynamics of Dunaliella viridis (Chlorophyta) epigenotypes in enrichment and quasi-continuous modes of cultivation was studied. It was found that the pattern of nucleic acids, proteins, triacylglicerols, and β-carotene peculiar to certain epigenotypes depend on the conditions of cultivation of microalgae. Quasi-continuous cultivation of D. viridis allows increased biomass yield by 23%, but the specific productivity was three times less compared to the enrichment culture. It was found that the growth rate of the microalgae correlates with the accumulation of exopolysaccharides in the culture medium.
