INVESTIGATION INTO THE PHASE SHIFT BETWEEN THE WAVES BRANCHED OFF BY SLOTS CUT THROUGH A WIDE WALL OF A HALF-OPEN METAL-DIELECTRIC WAVEGUIDE
Краткое описание
The electromagnetic cm-wave energy transmission is effected, for the most past, through rectangular waveguides and strip lines. The planar half-open metal-dielectric waveguide can well serve as a trade-off version of the above devices. To specify the parameters of the devices engineered from the design of this type of waveguide, we have come up with a measuring instrument the microwave portion of which is provided by a two-detector waveguide-slotted converter. The operation of this converter requires that the phase shift be quasi-constant over a frequency band. The phase shift invariance is achieved by varying both an inter-slot distance and a slot inclination angle.
