The Impact Factor measures the average number of citations received in a particular year by papers published in the journal during the two preceding years. 2017 Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate Analytics, 2018) IF: 1.2 To calculate the five year Impact Factor, citations are counted in 2017 to the previous five years and divided by the source items published in the previous five years. 2017 Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate Analytics, 2018) 5-Year IF: 1.4 The Immediacy Index is the average number of times an article is cited in the year it is published. The journal Immediacy Index indicates how quickly articles in a journal are cited. Immediacy Index: 0.3 The Eigenfactor score, developed by Jevin West and Carl Bergstrom at the University of Washington, is a rating of the total importance of a scientific journal. Journals are rated according to the number of incoming citations, with citations from highly ranked journals weighted to make a larger contribution to the eigenfactor than those from poorly ranked journals. Eigenfactor: 0.00066 The Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) is a single measurement of the field-normalized citation impact of journals in the Web of Science Core Collection across disciplines. The key words here are that the metric is normalized and cross-disciplinary. JCI: 0.34 SJR: 0.274 SNIP: 0.41 CiteScore™:: 2.8 H-Index: 37

Краткое описание

Royal Sun Agaricus—Agaricus brasiliensis—has traditionally and medically been used as a health food for the prevention of cancer. We chromatographically purified an immunomodulating compound from a water-soluble fraction of A. brasiliensis. The molecular weight of this compound was determined as approximately 6200 by gel permeation chromatography. This compound enhanced the production of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-a and nitric oxide (NO) from a murine macrophage-like cell line, RAW264.7. The result of time-course experiments on TNF-a and NO production from RAW264.7 indicated that TNF-a production was produced at least 6 hours earlier than NO production. The expression of interleukin (IL)-12 (a key role in Th1 differentiation) and IL-18 (a proinflammatory cytokine in enhancing Th1 immune response) mRNA in RAW264.7 was investigated by RT-PCR. Both mRNAs were induced 24 hours after stimulation. In conclusion, autocrine TNF-a production caused NO production from macrophage stimulated by the immunomodulating compound from A. brasiliensis. In addition, this compound might activate Th1 immune response because it increased the level of IL-12 and 18 mRNA expressions in macrophages.
