Краткое описание

Neck pain is one of the main causes of disability in adult populations. The purpose of the systematic review described here was to evaluate the effectiveness of the craniocervical flexion exercise in combination with the pressure biofeedback unit on neck pain, disability, and cervical range of motion in patients. PubMed, MEDLINE, Elsevier, and Google Scholar were used for the selection of randomized controlled trials. The PEDro scale was used to assess studies' methodological quality. Sixteen randomized controlled trials met the inclusion criteria. According to the physiotherapy evidence database (PEDro) scale evaluation, 3 were considered high quality and 13 were considered moderate quality. The mean score was 5.56. In most of the studies, there was a statistically significant improvement in all three variables after application of the craniocervical flexion exercise. Use of the craniocervical flexion exercise with the pressure biofeedback unit has a positive impact on pain, disability, and cervical range of motion in patients with neck pain.
