Turbulent Swirled Flow Structure in Twisted Tube Bundles
Краткое описание
The goal of this paper is generalization of the experimental data on the flow structure in twisted tube bundles. For experimental investigation of turbulent three-dimensional swirled flow the new method of anemometer signal analysis and small rotating hot-wire anemometers of original design were used. It is revealed, that with decreasing of relative swirl pitch of twisted tubes the tangential velocity increases and the stream in the flow core may be considered as one in the vicinity of a system of "vortex cords" where all the tangential velocities are induced by these interacting vortices. The results of flow structure investigations for twisted tube bundles allowed to understand the mechanisms of artificial flow turbulization and the way of control of such processes.
