Краткое описание

Temperature is an important parameter in modern industrial processes, scientific research, and daily life. Surface temperature measurement is essential to the field of heat transfer. Optical techniques can be used for fast and noninvasive temperature measurements with high spatial resolutions. This article provides a survey of various surface temperature measurement methods that utilize optical devices. The physical mechanisms and operating principles of each method are summarized, and recent developments and applications are reviewed. Emphasis is given to the development and application of thermometry in materials processing, microelectronic devices, and the study of energy transport.
